A screen is a window, not a wall
MobioSphere360 is a subscription service for 360 degree video and VR photography, made to be watched on the phone already in your pocket.
Ordinary video decides for you where to look. A 360 degree recording keeps the whole scene and hands that choice back. Look up at the ceiling of a hall, turn to the boat passing behind you, follow the light instead of the edit.
Our work is to gather that kind of material, prepare it so it plays smoothly over a mobile connection, and put it in front of you with as little as possible standing between you and the picture.
Where we are going
Immersive material spent years locked behind expensive hardware. We think the useful version of it is the one that opens in a browser on a handset, over the network people already pay for.
So the direction is plain: keep widening the library, keep the player quick on a modest connection, and keep the subscription honest enough that stopping it is as easy as starting it.
